FilAm Marriage Group of AZ

The Fil-Am Marriage Group of Arizona also known as FAMAZ was established in 2007 by founder Michael Lewis. The foundation of FAMAZ is based upon the shared experiences of the American marrying a Filipina and the unique biculture dynamics of the Filipina-foreigner relationship. The purpose of the group is to build a strong community, where people can meet, share, and explore the challenges that come with living life in a bi-cultural relationship. The group is also a source of support and friendship among spouses both American and Filipino and among those well-established or newly arrived. Their goal is to create a positive, supportive, and caring environment for its members. They help those beginning a new life in America to acclimate and provide them with a safe environment for developing a deeper understanding of cultural differences.
