Charnielyn “Cha” Silfavan is a devoted high school Mathematics teacher with 27 years of experience at University High School, a Blue Ribbon campus known for excellence and high student achievement. Holding a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision, she is passionate about helping students build confidence and meaning in mathematics through thoughtful instruction and creativity. Guided by her strong faith in God, Cha leads with humility, compassion, and a heart for service.

She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Council of Filipino Organizations and Foundation Secretary, and is the President of the Phoenix One World Global Artists Lions Club (POWGALC). Her advocacy shines through initiatives like Glow with the Elders, which uplifts the well-being of senior citizens, and youth-centered programs such as poster-making that encourage creativity, expression, and unity. She also serves as Treasurer of Las Damas de Rizal AZ, continuing her commitment to cultural preservation and servant leadership.

Beyond education and nonprofit work, Cha is a creative entrepreneur. She co-owns 2MTC Fix Masters & Services LLC, a handyman business, and runs MDC Fashion Jewelry, blending business with passion and style. She also supports her husband in DJ services during community events, joyfully contributing behind the scenes. With a deep love for the arts, Cha enjoys designing  souvenir programs and layouts, as well as painting, especially poster and landscape art, where she expresses both beauty and storytelling.

Above all, Cha is a woman of faith, a loving mother, and a mentor who strives to uplift others in every space she enters. Whether in the classroom, in service, in business, or through creative expression, she continues to live out her purpose with gratitude, grace, and a heart anchored in God.
